Wewus432
I think what DJDM was trying to say was that SOMA doesn't seem to be evil when you listen to them, and I think that is a true representation of the band. They don't seem to be evil, but they are in fact are. Excuse me for the extra are.

jlampson
Greetings, I am a "long time watcher, first time poster." Now that that's over with, I'm wondering if it is too late to get in on this project. I am a guitarist of 10 years and love playing different styles and living up to the challenge. I am enjoying what's been posted so far and would like to participate. Please let me know if this will be happening again soon if I've missed any deadlines. jlampson
Now I'm a second time poster! Okay, I failed to mention I also have my own forum, web space to upload to, about 30GB of storage for wave files that we can password protect, and all that fancy computer geek stuff on a decently fast connection. So, if anyone is interested...... =) John ----------- John\'s Songs
flyscots
Cool John, welcome! As you might know this was the first time we attempted this. It has been succesful in some parts but not so in others. You are too late for this project but please keep an eye out for any future happenings - I for one would love to continue with projects like this. In the meantime, there may be some other people who are up for a 'Non-Fantasy League' collaboration - that's what this forum is all about after all. Where abouts in Southern California are you? I'm currently in the Moorpark/Thousand Oaks area just NW of LA, Hollywood & all that craziness. SOMA, I'll listen to your songs when the DSL is fixed here or I'm somewhere else - I dont have the online time available to wait for the dial up at the moment unfortunately. I'm looking forward to hearing them. John Scotsman
jlampson
John S., I used to work in Westlake Village. Hit the 101 and drive 55 miles due East all the way to Duarte at the 210 and 605 and that's my neighborhood. I do not miss the commute. If you would like to discuss collaboration (and who wouldn't) please let me know. I can give you some examples of what I can do and have access to if you like just so we can get started. Anyway, good to be met with a friendly greeting. I am pretty excited to see a lot of other people excited about making music!
