Bunny Knutson Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Congratulations, Nursers! It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Hey, I have a few ideas I'm gonna try to work out, in collaboration with Sal. It's great to have this forum back as a resource! YIPPEEEEE!!! https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
Tedster Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Well, perhaps...uh...hope no one gets pissed off by my saying this, but, just maybe the demise of Rocket will actually be good for this place. Me, being the technologically impaired guy I am, was kinda, uhhh...I don't know if "intimidated" is the right word, by the thought that I'd have to use the Rocket Network to collaborate online. So, here I is. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Bunny Knutson Posted March 19, 2003 Author Posted March 19, 2003 Hi, Tedster! We'll get some of your tracks in here soon enough! First, though, get started on that album, buddy! Hey, Nursers, I also gotta say, I like the name of the forum, too. Nice one, Craig! https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
Gtoledo3 Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Yeah, definitely a good choice of name! all around. Want mix/tracking feedback? Checkout "The Fade"- www.grand-designs.cc/mmforum/index.php The soon-to-be home of the "12 Bar-Blues Project"
Salyphus Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 I'd always thought this place should have a broader focus than just Rocket Network, though I am sorry to see it go. Maybe it will be back when the time is ripe.
Bunny Knutson Posted March 19, 2003 Author Posted March 19, 2003 Yeah, I was always hesitant to suggest any other form of file transfer here. Now, I won't be. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/

BoldRuler Posted March 27, 2003 Posted March 27, 2003 how did this post twice? no matter where you go, there you are... http://johnnypistolaband.com
Bunny Knutson Posted March 27, 2003 Author Posted March 27, 2003 It's OK, Dave, you can say Behringer in here. I record with Cakewalsk/SONAR software in tandem with an M-Audio Delta 66 card and Omni I/O converter. I like it. My primary instruments are electric guitar and bass, but I also sing, play drums and percussion, and dabble on right-handed keyboards. I've got two Ibanez Artist 6-string electric guitars, an Ibanez JS100 electric, a cheapo beater Alvarez acoustic, Ibanez SG800 bass w/ EMG active pups, drum kit and hand percussion, a "vintage" '70s Casiotone, and a Kurzweil PC88 full 88-key controller. That's most of it. I love to mix, too; especially other people's music. That usually ends up feeling like a collaboration to me. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
BoldRuler Posted March 27, 2003 Posted March 27, 2003 Hi dBunny! Sounds like we could make some collaboration happen! I'm checking into some ftp space or maybe using icq to transfer files. I can also use some space on my sbcyahoo to post some files to build on.... let me know what you think. Dave no matter where you go, there you are... http://johnnypistolaband.com
Bunny Knutson Posted March 27, 2003 Author Posted March 27, 2003 Sounds cool, Dave. Check out my thread about wave files to see how I've done this before. If we start out simple, and work from there, we could make this collaboration thing happen now. Who wants to come up with an initial beat or bassline? Genre doesn't matter to me. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
BoldRuler Posted March 28, 2003 Posted March 28, 2003 Hi dB! I may have some time Sat to lay down some drums and bass, or was that bass and drums... keep checking in for more updates.... by4now... Dave no matter where you go, there you are... http://johnnypistolaband.com
Bunny Knutson Posted March 28, 2003 Author Posted March 28, 2003 Cool, man! I'll keep my eye on this thread. http://www.musicgearnetwork.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif Oh, and drums and bass would be preferable to bass and drums. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
Addix Metzatricity Posted March 28, 2003 Posted March 28, 2003 And just who are you to throw the bass at the end? "Bass isn't just for breakfast anymore..." http://www.mp3.com/Addix_Metzatricity
BoldRuler Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 That was too funny!!! I was just thinking out loud, lay down the bass first, then the drums, or vice verse then vice refrain.... come to think of it I think bass first will be the best! Dave no matter where you go, there you are... http://johnnypistolaband.com
