TShakazBlackRoots
There are many bassists I'd love to link up with, but given one choice (only coz of these harsh economic times...food is expensive ), I'd invite Aston Family Man Barrett. 'Can she come in just to spice things up? NO! Only one bassist invited. Damn!! tnb
Anthony Jackson, but he had better be on his best behavior because I would have no problem kicking his butt. If he was unavailable Jimmy Johnson, Nathan East, Marcus Miller or Lee Sklar would do just fine.

RobT
Vic Wooten. He seems like quite an interesting guy and would be a great dinner guest. Dave Brown
There'd be a lot... I'll set up a bass table in the corner of heaven. For here on earth, the ghost of the Ox. Entwhistle always the stable one in the Who, at least as far as I know. And he's the one that died of drugs. Be a lot to talk about. Yep. I'm the other voice in the head of davebrownbass. Lawnmower8
Geddy Lee. After dinner, we'd go catch an Orioles game at Camden or something. Talk bass, of course, but also about baseball and how to have a normal, stable life outside of rockstardom and whatnot. That guy rules. "Tea & Cake, or Death!" jeremy c
I've had dinner with Tom Capasso, Norm Stockton, Wally Malone and a few others whose names are escaping me a the moment and lunch with tnb, Whappo, Sweet Willie, Wally Malone. Also had breakfast with Bumpcity.(Not all at the same time). Every one of these occasions was enjoyable and I look forward to meeting more of you. After reading Tony Levin's book (the part about the search for the perfect piece of cheescake), I emailed him and invited him to come to the bakery near my house (my treat) when he played in town here, but he didn't respond. And if no one tells my wife, can I have dinner with Sheryl Crow? Free download of my cd!.

Rik
Geddy Lee would be my first choice, because he's my hero and because I know he probably has excellent table manners, which would be good because I'd probably have to take him to my mom's house for dinner. If Geddy wasn't available, then I'd invite Jennifer Arroyo from Kittie, because, well damn - look at her!

Mike Dimin
Had dinner and a snack with Vic Wooten - rather charming if I say so myself. Had dinner with Chuck Rainey (although spent most of my time talking to Elliot Randall - as I had spent most of the afternoon interviewing Chuck)and of course there was that time that Wolfgang Puck made dinner for Lee Skalr and me (ok so it was just his restaraunt, but dinner was great and Lee Sklar is one of the funniest guys around!). Had Sushi with Norm Stockton (Really what else would you expect). Bummed cigs on the streets of manhattan with Matt Garrison (actually he bummed them, I don't smoke). Oh, and I had drinks with Dave Pomeroy -world class guy, and suasages with Dino Monoxelos - just the absolute nicest guy in the world, no questions asked. It has been fun - there are more, too Mike

butcherNburn
JPJ Or I'd invite Lemmy over to someone else's house. As much as I'd like to talk with him, I don't think I'd want him in my house.
