Bought Cheap Pyle Clone of K&M Omega Stand

Iconoclast

For $150 I figured I'd take a chance. But I'm still going to send it back.

Any of you guys who have the Omega Stand see the same issues at the adjustable leg joints?

You want me to start this song too slow or too fast?

Forte7, Nord Stage 3, XK3c, OB-6, Arturia Collection, Mainstage, MotionSound KBR3D. A bunch of MusicMan Guitars, Line6 stuff

send it back.  The post below the tightener is moving too.  Looks like a poor weld joint at the very bottom or very squishy carpet.

I've solved loose insert pipes by wrapping some electrical tape or something around the top of the inserted pipe to reduce the "play".

Holy cow, I use a K&M omega two tier and it's really solid, nothing whatsoever like that video.  That said, I have a really light keyboard on the lower tier (Modx7) and the SK Pro on the top isn't very heavy either.

I have the same Pyle stand and mine doesn't have this problem, but it was packed with the wrong sized bolt and I had to call Pyle to ask for a replacement, they wouldn't give me a new bolt, just a small refund (I think it was $7) so I just cut it down with a bolt cutter and now it's all good.

I wish it had the fold down option that the K&M have now. Otherwise it's a good stand at a very nice price.
