They blew me away completely, and they also blew away Chicago, The Young Bloods, and Canned Heat. Phil W Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I love me some Santana. Especially everything up until the 80s. I love Abraxas, Caravanserai, Welcome, Lotus etc. The bands were amazing. And Carlos is such a great melody player - that's why greats such as Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter and Miles Davis have acclaimed him.
