  1. So why not just leave it off in all models then? The keyboard had enough new features to stand alone without polyphonic aftertouch...
  2. You've been able to play different parts between the actual keyboard and the controller on manykeyboards for a very long time... And as much as I love my Fantom, they haven't been able to get regular aftertouch right on a keyboard since at least the Fantom G, maybe before.... polyphonic would be dope, but got to get the basics first.
  3. And I also wonder do you still get access to the software if you sell the keyboard... Or once you own one, and sell, do you lose access...?
  4. Is it software like and actual plugin with its own audio engine ....? Or is it a librarian and programmer that connects to the keyboard and triggers it etc ...
  5. 3 keys change that much for you as it relates to a keyboard being able to be used for aux AND mains?
  6. Which keyboard are you referring to coming the closest to doing it all? what do you mean by buying outwards?
  7. These pictures look ultra fake. I know the board is official but these pics look like photoshop specials lol
  8. I have a Kronos project that I'm working on and considering repairing/replacing about 4-6 hammers and keys vs buying a new keybed. I also have a Kronos 88 keybed that was returned to me after sweetwater but the new keybed in...(way back when Korg did "recall" of sorts on the original RH3 keybeds... I was wondering if I could take parts from it to replace the bad parts on this current kronor (73) project. I was considering the fact that the original keybed could have parts from before they changed whatever they changed about rh3. Trying to make the best long AND short term decision.
  9. Thanks. Do you remember the price? I'm sure that was several several years ago...
  10. I told someone that too. Took a page out of Roland's book!!!
  11. Yeah I was still talking about what he asked. He said most realistic. I think the super natural engine is one of the more realistic sounding engines as it relates to romplers...
  12. Bread and butter or what? Probably go after the Jupiter 80. Lol for best quality bread and butter... Integra is good too. Can't ever look past the Kronos either. But the Jupiter may be the best rompler for the most realistic bread and butter sounds. Gotta figure in organ, strings, guitars,... AND brass, woodwinds.
  13. As much as I love Korg, I never had any interest in the Krome.
  14. That's cool. I still love Kronos. I prefer it to anything. Nothing touches it (IMO) Fantom 2019 is close. But it's dang near 10 years newer. But as far as buying a Kronos now... If anything goes wrong, good luck getting parts. Sucks to use that perspective. But it has to be considered.
  15. If any of you guys are big into sound design and programming, I think this feature could be a game changer... I don't hear it come up much in discussions about the Nautilus so maybe it's not a well known thing. This could definitely be used to improve workflow. Let me know what you think.
  16. Isn't it kinda early for them to announce/release a new flagship? How old is the Montage?
  17. Yeah I was going to ask about budget... But the most realistic bread and butter sounds may be the Jupiter 80. Do you need a workstation? I def don't think Nord when I think bread and butter (rompler stuff) but they may be able to do it... I'd probably look at Kronos/Nautilus and that Fantom series. Depending on the budget though, I'd modify my suggestions.
  18. This question has come to me quite a bit... concerning any form of step sequencer in the Korg Nautilus... hopefully this will help some people out. (at least a little). Goes live tomorrow morning at 10am central.
  19. What do you mean your DAW died? What will you have to buy? A new one? Or a new computer all together?
