  1. Thanks for your help guys. 2 different controllers (alesis q88 and old Roland RD200), One with expression pedal, one with none. Same issues, so I've eliminated the controller or pedal as culprits. I've tried 2 power supplies that meet the specs, but I kinda think the problem could be power-related.
  2. I'm experiencing intermittent changes in volume in Voce V5, ranging from full, half, and zero, and then back and forth, no particular order. No scratchiness. Any advice, deoxit? Thanks in advance.
  3. The Alesis Strike 8 drum amp and Alto ts308 PA/monitors are the same amp---same group/company=InMusic. I just A/B'd them. The Alesis is 249.00 vs. 289 for Alto. Both great for keyboard monitors in live situations. I think the HeadRush is also exactly the same. All very good options, just a flat reproduction of your source.
  4. Just out of curiosity, I'm want to check it out. I'm intrigued. It clearly is not Hammond--I have typed in RMI, Vox, Univox, Hohner, Cordovox, Yamaha, Viscount, Oberheim, Farfissa, Gibson, Kustom, Baldwin, Kawai, Roland, Crumar...NOTHING! The internet has never heard of this board.

  6. The alto ts308 are great. I have 2. The headrush 8" is the same thing, a bit less expensive. https://www.amazon.com/HeadRush-Electric-Guitar-Amplifier-FRFR-108/dp/B07M7JNZNX/ref=dp_fod_2?pd_rd_i=B07M7JNZNX&psc=1 I'd wait on the 408 if you don't need bluetooth. I like a product that's been out there for a while, bugs worked out. All the extras on the 408 give me caution.
  7. I have an alesis q88 that does have a control pedal jack. I use an FC7 pedal that has been modified for polarity, works fine. The q88's feel is pretty bad. If you find one that works, contact me. I have an adapter that will make the FC7 work with anything.
  8. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B7SB486/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 99 bucks--very nice
  9. Don't forget about the non-usable extra voices and glue issues. The VK8 was possibly worse.
  10. back to the original post--I've got an A-100 as well, love the open back. It's convenient and I think it looks great. I don't see any danger in leaving it open. If you're not moving it around, what's the problem?
  11. I'm thinking of getting one. I've heard the internal Leslie and OD are the weak spot. I have a Vent already, so I'd like to know if you can route/pan the organs all the way to one side and everything else to the other? Nord let's you do this and it's quite handy. Even if they let you pan on individual sounds, it would be cool. Thanks in advance.
  12. Just watched Part 1, I wanna get my stomach pumped and listen to Rubber Soul all the way thru--I'm with Ringo, the look on his face, just wanting for this tedium to be over. I got that look on my face, the same look when I rehearse with bandmates. Mostly torture. Just can't wait to hear several Beatles songs all the way thru. And Michael Linsey-Hogg makes me wanna puke, one idiotic idea after another. I gotta think part 2 and 3 will be more tolerable to me.
  13. To the OP--The Neo Vent is the answer. Your Leslie experience will improve exponentially and the drive is excellent. You might think you're ok with the internal lez--but the Vent blows it out of the water.
  14. I recently purchased the Nord Electro 6. I really love it, and don't even take out the Vent anymore.
  15. I've got a '54 B-2, love it, added nothing aftermarket because it's the balls the way it is.
  16. I have a pair of alto 308's. I usually use just one and go to the FOH thru the built-in DI. They are great--you won't be lacking in low end whatsoever. Go buy a pair and enjoy all the money you saved. I had a qsc 12--these are better.
  17. +1 I used a V5 for years and it never cut out. Still have it. Ballsy sounding organ, even more so with a Vent. It's really really really ballsy and the Vent makes it Vanfukkentastique!!!
  18. This combination is absolutely killer! They mingle quite well, especially the 2 OD's used together in tandem. The shitty V/C doesn't come into play for me--it's turned off. My only concern with the Voce is that when you hold a chord for 12-15 seconds, it cuts out completely. This has nothing to do with the Vent. Do you think this issue is related to polyphony or lack thereof, or is my Voce defective? Thanks, Sage
  19. My mistake. So sorry for the inconvenience.

  21. Nord Electro 6 73.. I've had the 2,3, and 4. Is it my imagination that the Leslie and OD have been improved from the 4 to the 6?
  22. Here is an archaic but nice piece https://www.ebay.com/itm/Roland-Sound-Canvas-SC-55-MIDI-MADE-IN-JAPAN-Generator-Charger/393153197528?hash=item5b89c1b5d8:g:OyQAAOSwQ9BgNkeM This is not my listing, but I have one in pristine condition--I'd sell it to you if you're in the lower 48.
  23. Is it possible to have organs routed to right or left--and everything else goes the way? I'm thinking Vent.
