  1. Enter at your own risk or should I say ... mission accomplished. ;-)
  2. You got some good mileage out of that board, Casio's are tough but not forever. ;-)
  3. Probably was answered already but... does the YC61 need to run stereo like the NS3 or does the mono out suffice for the sound?
  4. So... is the YC61 basically a mini CP88 with a good organ section & drawbars? I was thinking about the CP88 but this could be the one.
  5. Korg Kronos2 covers any gig, the sounds are kinda dated but still lip smacking good.
  6. Other than size, Is the file the same quality on all devices/
  7. Maybe his parents are famous wealthy people, maybe he wrote a hit song, maybe his YT advertisers pay mega bucks. I've wondered how he has all the latest gear, actual grand piano$ and now from what I understand his own studio... he's doing something right (or wrong) or has a big ass loan from somewhere!
  8. Didn't realize James was nineteen, indeed very knowledgeable, talented, well spoken and somewhat "cocky" (confident comes off like that sometimes). He's been doing this for a few years so he must've been ten or twelve when he started?
  9. You age well Dave, as for me it's all Dorian Grey!! And yes when you said twenty years ago I thought too the 80's...
  10. Wish it could be available on the Kronos or other pro stage DP's.
  11. I'm the full time Music Director at my church (have been for twenty years) & it has sustained me between gigs but in the last five years the pastor has been assigning me more duties because "music isn't really work" & feels adding more to my juggling plates justifies my position, especially recently. So I not only prepare music & play piano and organ at five masses, all weddings, funerals, quinceaneras,... I'm also the Director of Liturgy, Director of Grounds Maintenance, departmental head for the Office of Health and Safety Management and I'm sure there's more to come. I wonder sometimes if pulling me in several directions is a game to get me to quit...
  12. There's a Casio for every need & want!!!!
  13. Will there be a 40th anniversary edition of something from Casio? That would be very cool indeed.
  14. Crystal Blue Persuasion (been watching Breaking Bad).
  15. Does the M-Audio use Fatar action?
  16. Which Yamaha DP was Lady Gaga playing at the beginning of the show? (in a nice white Yamaha piano shell of course
  17. I asked an amazing pianist years ago how he developed his touch because it was amazing... "practice as slow as you can & no pedal".
  18. The Crumar MOJO Desktop eerily reminds me of the Roland VK-8M which I used to own, man that had a great sound.
  19. So that's a modified AP you're playing?
  20. In younger days always stood, but now after several back & knee surgeries and just getting older sitting is best for me... I also like my posture better.
  21. Chicago's another band that, in their prime was one of my favorites to see live...
  22. I suppose Coachella & other large events will follow suit?
  23. Great performance by a great artist & band... made me smile!!
  24. The reality is they're not the guys they were back in the seventies or eighties but none of us are. Also depends on you're perception & expectations of Phil... a wheezing old mad struggling through the evening or an icon who has aged with time but still brings unique artistry.
