I put in an order for a Yamaha sub. It took 5 months to come, and there is still no stock in Canada for it. It was worth the wait. There are however some things I would like to try that are not available to do so.
No worries, you were sandbagged by the organizers. They obviously have very little experience dealing with artists, and the requirements for staging an event.
I've had an Electro 3 and a C2, They have since been sold on. Right now I'm looking for something to take over piano/organ duties. I was pleasantly surprised when I had a chance to try an Electro 6 73 with hammer action. Its on my list of contenders!
I find it light enough to lay on top of other gear with no worries about damage. I leave all the tiers set up, and just fold it. The ease of use, and lack of weight are well worth any size issues.
Three tier rig which I have gigged, minus the cross bar and trolley. Had it for ten years with no issues. I have ordered another for a two tier setup, and will leave this at home.
The mint is also offering a $20 silver coin. The series is available at Canada Post offices, although they only had one of these in town here.
