  1. data suggests otherwise Boy, is that ever the case. With all the folks spending time at home with so much time on their hands unable to spend cash on the things they normally do, along with other factors like many professionals are having to duplicate their work setups at home and all kinds of folks making sure their computers have good interfaces, mics, headphones etc., the musical instrument and pro audio industries are both seeing unprecedented (sustained) sales in many areas. You don't even wanna know how many ukeleles are being bought these days. Normally, these industries are hit way hard during any kind of economic crisis. The fact that people are turning to music to spend their time and money is a ray of sunshine in these crazy times, IMO. A whole bunch of my friends who haven't looked at their gear in years are making music again....and really enjoying doing so. dB At least in Europe, keyboard's sales figures are more or less similar to previous year, so right now the market has shifted even more towards " home " enthusiasts and people exploring new hobbies, Right now the biggest problem seems to be the lack of stock, not sales, for the regional distributor's
  2. Or Madrid with a death toll over 3k , so far....
  3. I'm sorry, but this it's kinda lame, a band like Purple where all its repertoire its based in a Hammond organ playing with a guy that has no chops as organ player, besides using a plugin!!
  4. So high trigger thru midi means that the controller sends midi velocity of 127 no matter how you press the keys?
  5. How to sync your audio in Final Cut Pro X
  6. Thanks a lot for keep on trying to squeeze the most from this keyboard!!
  7. This article seems like a paid add , the kind of links you get when searching google for " best itunes alternatives"
  8. I guess that changed, isn't? AFAIK VB3II it's updated simultaneously in both platforms
  9. I'm quite sure that Guido will come sooner or later with something to make the VB3II even better, so I'll stay with my VB3II
  10. [video:youtube] Jon Lord getting the most from the "Maestro" thru a Hammond C3, it was in its bag of tricks till late 70's
  11. That's my main complain about UVI powered plugins in general, VB3II it's way more CPU friendly and gets better with every update
  12. Keystage with AUM it's a killer combination, it allows you do all sorts of setups with ios apps and external devices. Keystage has the option to create very powerful midi/routing/modifier patches that you can store to reuse in different songs, more powerful than Camelot Pro. Camelot pro has some built in external presets for yamaha keyboards and some others, for me, that's the only small advantage over Keystage. And yes, imidipatchbay seems easier at first glance, but, less flexible, besides they want to charge you $$ for all extra options that the others apps already include (eg charts, etc)
  13. Keystage it's not complex , just took me 10 min to figure out everything, displays charts, has a configurable real time XY control , you can create instruments presets in order to use em for different songs ( routings, prg ch, cc mappings, etc) I've purchased all 3 apps, so far I'll stick with Keystage , most flexible if your goal it's having everything inside you ipad . The only thing missing right now, it's a flexible song set list feature, right now takes like 2 secs to load a new song ( the developer stated at audiobus forum's that's currently working on that) [video:youtube]
  14. KeyStage seems more flexible , (if you want to use a lot of ios instruments,) has a very powerful midi filter and transform options. I've tried it with many ios apps haven't found any important issues, it sends a midi prg chg to recall the settings in your ios apps. Still a work in progress , but right now it's more useful than the other 2 apps for an ios based rig
  15. The only reason to choose the Vox is the price drop, other than that a current Electro model it's way more versatile
  16. awesome job franky!!! thanks to your panel I'm using once again my VR-09, now it's little bit less a " cumbersome" experience trying to program or manage setlists and patches beyond the preset ones!!
  17. Did you turn on the high trigger point on the Vox, before doing that test? Makes quite a difference
  18. I did notice this behavior since my first day with a Gemini, it's more frequent with my Studiologic's VMK-176 than with a PC3K7, also notice that with the Kurz only happens while using midi ports (not usb). IIRC haven't experienced this situation with my Kronos 2 and Montage as master controllers for the Gemini module. In those days ( I've got my Gemini just released) sent a couple of emails to Guido he said that they weren't able to reproduce this behavior in the lab.
  19. Just downloaded latest upgrade (thanks to this thread), a little better but still too CPU intensive to use low latency as I'm used to do while recording, I still use VB3 just because it's easier on CPU even with 32 Lives.
  20. My adapter is a plain one, no resistors, let me see if I get it, you mean putting a 47k resistor to the tip and other to the ring par of the adapter ? Thanks a lot!!!
  21. Mighty , Do you mind sharing the recipe to configure the EPP, so I can get an idea how to adapt it to the VR-09? TIA!!!!
  22. I´ve try at least 5 pedals, and yes the best (the FC7 with an inverse polarity adapter), but compared with any other board the response feels a little short and not as smooth.
  23. Hi Guys, Anyone had the courage to try a Midi Solutions Event processor plus to program the VR09 sliders and buttons to send midi CC? BTW, It's possible also to use it to improve the Expression pedal response curve?, so you can use any pedal to send a more standard curve, cause that's one of the biggest issues of the VR-09 ( besides the lack of midi CC) Thanks a lot,
  24. That's a very valid point IMHO, being looking around for an organ controller, not many options that sends midi in all parameters and has a more or less standard organ layout, besides not costing and arm and a leg , an last but not least , that's not heavy as hell, like the new DMC-122 or Keyb Master controller.
  25. get the Netgear N150, works fine with the VR09
