  1. Christian, I thought the mini USB was changed to type B port.
  2. Understood but it's more than just a chip change, I believe a board needs to be changed out which probably includes the chip and maybe the addition of a board, not sure, as well as the USB socket change out.
  3. Any chance we can do the 3.5 upgrade on our own yet, or do we still have to send it in?
  4. I lived in Steamboat for a few years when I first moved out here about 35 years . I became extremely physically fit there, wow great time to be alive. woud take trips to Telluride, Beaver Creek Taos and Alta. I aso got deep into aviation, 18 months getting an A&P 2 years Avionics school, along the way I got my pilots license & instrument rating I was all over the plce in little Moony Ranger, damb that was a cool ride I've been out here in the front range mostly, between Denver and Boulder.
  5. the Kick is always buried in drum apps and the kicks always sound like SH!T.
  6. Well I farted and blew the back of my recliner off, is that supposed to be a side affect.
  7. I remember their keyboard room back then was awfully small I did buy a CP-80 DX-7 poly 61 and an SQ80 from them.
  8. My home town music store had one with the expander that I didn't have a clue about back in the early 70's
  9. Thanks, it's not to scale and the base needs to be longer in the back plus the rear support needs to come back more and attach higher at the upper cross bar. Need detailed drawings from Plixio. I use to know a good TIG welder but no ideal where he is theas days.
  10. Going to make this from two Plixio stands or from scratch, after many possible designs I think I' ve settled on this.
  11. I run my Triton Extreme 76 at zero clearance over my Kawai ES3, you can only get to the keys. Available tier options are crap so I'll roll my own.
  12. I'd like to go Z but the tier options are crap so I'll roll my own.
  13. First thing I noticed, no growl, like where's the beef. Only example I heard was church lady through a thinly veiled drive.
  14. Years ago a thread here, live players could care less about half pedaling and were more about reliability, sticking to on/off pedaling, while I couldn't think of playing without it, at least with a hammer action board.
  15. Oh crap, just look how the arms and legs engage and how they hold when open. The aluminum center piece will wear out first and then it will go from wobbly to hell in a slam against the floor.
  16. Like the others have said the controller is purely about your needs and preference. My upper board is in my sig and I also use a BCR2000 when needed.
  17. Never consider an 88 for controls other than it's keys. always have a board above to carry controller load. ES110 is light with good action, I'd use it.
  18. The only difference of the two from Specs is the action. The Hammer III action is the added weight to the 920, I'm guessing mostly from the key weights.
