  1. If it's going to sit and not transport then the big sinks are OK if you plan on gigging with it then Liquid cooling would be a better option. the bigger sinks can crack the board and need to be removed for transport DDR4 is approaching end of life but is still a choice depending on your use/need. If your sessions/use is under 40 tracks you should be good with a 127000***. Alot are using the Corsair rmx 750/850 fan rarely comes on during DAW work
  2. Awesome, I love this supper accurate stuff, Thank you very much. needs a good singer but a little on the rock side but still as progressive, if there is such a singer
  3. I'm just talking about unweighted and semiweighted boards, I've always liked Yamahas keybeds, I didn't know my Trinity was theirs at the time though. As far as weighted, I kind of liked my CP 80 although it was a real piano action, liked my GEM Pro II especially losing all that weight and have settled on Kawi I only use theirs as a controller so I could do with out the speakers amp and sound engine they have a weighted controller but it's too heavy I guess cause they over built the action and/or the case. I like Yamahas acoustic more than Kawis though.
  4. Those keybeds were made by Yamaha, then Korg got the stupid ideal they could make their own. Wonder if they think they're as good or better LOL.
  5. Don't get a TR76 the keybed Sucks The Triton extreme 76 has a nice key bed in it but good luck finding one.
  6. I'd like to make an interpretation of this stand: here's an aluminum tube version I've been working on I would have to find a decent tig welder to build or put one together
  7. Silicone, it was on the wires and alot of points of contact on my GEM Pro ll to keep them from moving around.
  8. I need to change the rear upper tier to a tele lock instead of the stock spaced set up so the upper tier can be fine tuned to the lower board or tier.
  9. One of my best and favorite I had the ESQ-1 prior to it.
  10. They are available: Link I'd like that too, but they are significantly more expensive than 3.5mm and DIN. I'd welcome a change to XLR aswell, the thought of being able to lock connectors in seems real appealing to me would be nice to do that with USB too.
  11. Bought this back in may cause my touch pad sucks. I've used the earlier models in the past but this newer one is way better. It has a USB receiver or you can use Bluetooth, the resolution is alot better and you don't need alot of realestate for a track ball
  12. They're plugins look like SurgeX but I like they're gear as well. would be nice to use one of those instead of my Furman to get better and consistent protection and free up space in the rack. I use a racked switch box to power up/down
  13. Had a Pro 2 for about eight years but Kawais action won me over so I sold the Pro 2. Still have an RPX but would like to switch out for a better module to maintain my hardware side of the rig but to few and far.
  14. I build my key mix in my interface, send a FOH from there as well, run the FOH mix, a separate key mix and ambient to my Ashley to mix and monitor. I have MADI now on mu interface allowing for IP monitoring so I can create a personal mix but every one else has to get on the same page.
  15. Don't know any thing about Vox but have always liked Yamaha SW and synth actions, very playable.
  16. I like to draw a bit, simple, mechanical, to answer my own, if I was to design/build a stand for my needs? I came up with this, to build you would need to know how to or know a TIG welder which is best for Aluminum, you would have to know the type of Aluminum to use. The second tier crossbar fitting might need a little mill work they need to adjust up/down for fine tuning
  17. Yea, the mini isn't integrated to the board just screwed to the back panel. I don't think I'd have a problem with the header on the back of the display as well.
