  1. Yes, as for Korg, they shouldn’t be discussed in a group of serious keyboard manufacturers. There should be a separate forum for musical toy companies . Oh wait I forgot there’s Korg Forums.com.
  2. How long ago was this? The late Prof. Peter Schickele was doing this a long time ago while performing P.D.Q. Bach.
  3. Speaking of Korg, Roland has now produced the sequel to the Kronos, not Korg. Korg is now only interested in building musical toys.
  4. It appears in some quarters, the price has dropped for the Reface CS. No surprise. It was a colossal blunder by Yamaha to not include patch memory. Does anyone think this signals an updated model with patch memory?
  5. From what I’ve heard of the Numa Organ 2, it sounds amazing. I wish it was still being made.
  6. This is ALMOST cool. If it had a large screen it would be comparable to the original Korg OASYS prototype shown at NAMM many years ago. That prototype had software instruments and could be updated with more. Of course by the time the OASYS appeared on the market it had nothing more than some fixed sound engines.
  7. I’ve never had a problem with buffering problems or interferences when playing a CD. Streaming is always going to be susceptible to signal interruptions. You can have it. I also like to read liner notes.
  8. I have all the CDs. I used to have all the LPs. This is why CDs shouldn’t be disrespected.
  9. The point is that Korg is limiting themselves with what they can make. So screw them.
  10. Hammond Novachord and Knifonium vacuum tube synthesizer. You kiddies can have your new fangled transistor based toys. I’ll take the meaty vacuum tube sound gladly.
  11. Wow I didn’t realize Mellotrons had reverb back then.
  12. I think the problems with the site are a good analogy of Korg itself.
