Gifthorse
HAAHA!! But seriously, any advice on this problem? I usually hold the guitar firmly upside down, then I jump up and down so the body and me are one. It is easier to feel the pick and get it in the right spot. http://flagshipmile.dmusic.com/ http://www.myspace.com/gifthorse

A String
I like to think that my technique works well. Hold the guitar, face up, and shake it around until the pick is sitting on the sticker inside the sound hole. Next, hold it close to the ground and lift it up VERY quickly, as you approach the top, begin twisting it so it is face down. The pick is held in place by centrifugal force as you lift it. If you time it properly, the centrifugal force will let the pick go just as it turns upside down. Because you positioned it on the sticker, it will be directly over the sound hole and should drop straight out. A little practice with this and you can do it every time! A String
Oh, loved the video! Also, I should add a warning with my method. Be certain that no one is standing around you when you do it because you could knock out a few teeth. Guitar55
I use the same method that A String proposes and I'm a total pro at it! Guarantteed to free any swallowed pick on the first try! :-)

Philip OKeefe
Hold the guitar flat, with the soundhole facing upwards. Tilt the neck downwards so that the pick falls forward towards the neck block. You might have to shake it a bit in order to get the pick "over" the braces. Once you can see the pick, rotate the guitar upside down quickly and shake a couple of times. I can't really describe it, but I can normally extract a pick in about 10 seconds or less.
