Marcus H
My piano teacher has told me that with my playing style I might be good at jazz. I haven't really been exposed to much jazz though. Can someone recommend some good jazz pianists for me to listen to?

kwgm
Many great jazz pianists. We could keep adding our favorites. Bill Evans is probably at the top of most pianists' lists, but if he were alive, Bill would tell you about those who influenced him, players like Lenny Tristano and Art Tatum, and composers like Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. There have been a few "Top 100" collections and here's a couple of links you might enjoy: http://www.jazzpianists.com http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/best_jazz/best_jazzpiano.html http://www.billevanswebpages.com/ http://www.learnjazzpiano.com/ regards, --kwgm
