I don't know, the Vikings trailing by 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter had me pretty nervous. Don't remember why I picked 'em.

I'll bet it did. I didn't realize it had come down to it like that.

I hate having to work on Sundays in the fall.... :(

I just looked over my past picks and kinda got excited because I haven't yet used Indy or Chicago..

Then I looked at Lachesis & DaBowsa's picks, and suddenly realised, there prolly gonna wipe the floor with me. Maybe most of us.:(

All it takes is one bad week...

Fantasy, pick'em, spreads, straight up - nothing stresses me out like my Keyboard Corner Survival Pool pick. :freak:

Yeah, Jay, I've spent so many big guns that I'm going to be shooting caps by week 8.

But that's where the "ride a loser," "never bet on a road team," and other conservative methodologies come into play. daBowsa won't divulge his award-winning methodology. I for one think it involves Cabalah, I-Ching, Jean Dixon, the S&P index, and especially the Fibonaci sequence. He won't say.

This is my 200th post, so I hope I'm picking a winner . . . Please give me the Denver Broncos.

Noah

P.S. I'm sure I'm being naive as a first-time Survival Pool combatant, but, since the football season is only 17 weeks long, and since there are 32 teams in the NFL, it seems to me that the need to pick crappy teams to win (even factoring in things like scheduling peculiarities) should be pretty small. I suspect I'll see the error of my ways relatively soon, but, for now, I'll just continue with my strategy of taking the "best player available" off my "draft board."

Noah, I think you have the right idea on GP but on any given Sunday.... ;)

Indy and Chicago will lose to a loser eventually and that is when the best player on the board becomes a bust.

My strategy requires I pick Denver this week,

I hope this won't end my 5 game win streak

Favored by 15 over the Raiders of Oakland,

This should be a winner, just like Jerry Lee on a grand
