Magpel
Yeah, Jay, I've spent so many big guns that I'm going to be shooting caps by week 8. But that's where the "ride a loser," "never bet on a road team," and other conservative methodologies come into play. daBowsa won't divulge his award-winning methodology. I for one think it involves Cabalah, I-Ching, Jean Dixon, the S&P index, and especially the Fibonaci sequence. He won't say. NoahZark
This is my 200th post, so I hope I'm picking a winner . . . Please give me the Denver Broncos. Noah P.S. I'm sure I'm being naive as a first-time Survival Pool combatant, but, since the football season is only 17 weeks long, and since there are 32 teams in the NFL, it seems to me that the need to pick crappy teams to win (even factoring in things like scheduling peculiarities) should be pretty small. I suspect I'll see the error of my ways relatively soon, but, for now, I'll just continue with my strategy of taking the "best player available" off my "draft board." ProfD
Noah, I think you have the right idea on GP but on any given Sunday.... Indy and Chicago will lose to a loser eventually and that is when the best player on the board becomes a bust. PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E.
