Apology to some forum members

p120dUdE

Recommended Posts

As you know, I flipped out on our good moderator, Dave Bryce yesterday. I must say, this was not neccesary and it will not happen again. It was rude and obnoxious, and extremely uncalled for. If I have yelled at you, sweared at you, or called you a name for somthing you believed, I am truly sorry. I am a little edgy and nervous because someone very special to me in my family was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. This is a extremely sad time.

Please, forgive me for my rude action.

Regards,

Chris,

Sorry for your personal bad news.

I am glad to see this apology. Humility goes a long way on the path of growth and enlightenment.

Our moderator and Many, Many people on this forum are tried and true professionals in this industry. They are here donating their time to help others. Let's keep them here by being courteous and assuming that more times than not, they KNOW their subjects and have good reasons for their actions.

Maybe this is an opportunity to be the "New" P120dUdE.

A little older, a little wiser

I love your enthusiasm! If you temper it with some better judgment, youll get a lot from this forum.

Again, sorry to hear about your family member

Take Care,

Consider me the "New p120dUdE" Starting now, with my opinions(judgements) being less harsh and no rudness.

I hope all of you can accept my apology. I am starting on a fresh new page.

Chris,

I'm glad to hear you are turning the page and starting fresh. You are a very enthusiastic person and I think that you can add value if you channel your energies positively (e.g. no more bashing Yamaha and the P250! ;) ).

Best of luck with the sick family member. I've been through that more than once and it's tough. I empathize with you.

Regards,

Eric

Hey, it takes a nice degree of intelligence and sensibility to apologize like this, and some guts too. I hope you'll still be around the Corner (oops) in the future.

I'm very sorry to hear the bad news. Every difficult situation requires strenght and responsability, but you don't seem to lack either.

Very well put. It's unfortunately all too rare. I wish your family member the best luck and most speedy recovery imaginable. Take care.

These online forums are strange creatures ... we can find community and have fun, but we can also get carried away and offend people. I love it when people are kind and helpful. I used to spend time on an Audi forum and 90% of the posters were rude arrogant punks. I don't go there anymore.

Long live p120dude! :D

Someone older and wiser than me once told me (under circumstances similar to those P120dude is facing now) that nothing happens to us before we are prepared to face it. Sometimes bad news chill our spines and we believe we will not make it through. But yes, this somebody was right. You do get through. Add another scar to your hide and life goes on. We were born survivors. As the lyrics goes, time in on our side...

Peace and strength

Dear p120dude, right off I would like to say your loved one will be in my prayers.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

As far as the former discussions in a previous thread regarding song postings, your appology is accepted. I missed the discussions due to family reasons, but know that sometimes we do get into a heated discussion here once and awhile. Although I havn't seen one in a long time.

It is tough to be humble my friend, and even tougher to admit when we are wrong too. The word respect comes to mind. I know that respect is all I need to keep me going in life most of the time. I think that the fellow members here have maintained that respect to me and others as well.

Dave is a very hard worker here on the forum. He tries to maintain some order among all of us. I myself am greatful to be a part of this great forum with all of the tremendous talant base here. Dave is the moderator, we are not. He calls the shots like a teacher, and I respect that. He and alot of others here have given mucho personal time in supporting our "Keyboard Corner" compilations, to which I am truly greatful.

There was a time I'm sure that all of us have vented on this forum for one reason or another to a topic we felt strongly about. I know that some people have left this forum because of their attitude towards others here.

So hang arround, use some good sense in your comments in helping others here.........God only know I need all of the help I can get. :D

Although this is a long statement, all of us on the forum have grown closer together musicly.

Yes there are a lot of forums out there, but this one has a back bone, professional ethics, is forgiving, has an all around good sense of humor to it at times, and flat fun to be here.

Peace my friend, and again may God bless you and your family.

Done.

Any fool can rant and rave, it takes a real (wo)man to stand up and take the heat by apologizing. My hat is off to you...

Thoughts and prayers to your ailing loved one.
