spigotsaol.com
Hello. As a lifelong DP user (well, last 12 years anyway), I am now having to work on a Wintel machine. I have been reading and reading and reading about all the new software out there and have come to the conclusion that I have NO idea what to get, and I need to buy something soon. I haven't sequenced a song in 8 months!!! This is way I used to work: Sequenced drums and loops. Sequenced bass. Sequenced keys. Live GTRS and Vocals. I have a recorder, so recording audio in the software isn't of extreme importance. Easy sequencing, the ability to easily adjust loops, accurate and flexible quantizing, and the abilty to chase MTC are a must. I'd appreciate any feedback!! TIA, Frank

Just because of this, I highly recommend you to check SONAR, by CakeWalk. It is the champ regarding Adjusting Audio LOOPS with MIDI tracks. Dan South
SONAR and Logic are two monster programs. They're quite different, but each is a powerhouse at what it does. Try downloading the demos. Logic can be found at http://www.emagic.de or http://www.emagicusa.com The Black Knight always triumphs!
nursers
And for the sake of even-handedness, Cubase is another monster app: www.steinberg.net The Keyboard Chronicles Podcast Check out your fellow forumites in an Apple Music playlist Check out your fellow forumites in a Spotify playlist My Music: Stainless Fields
Gus Lozada
Well... I was ONLY talking about the LOOPS SYNC (ACID Style BTW) capability of SONAR... it's awesome and none else offers it. Peace...
