Dan South
Everything's done on mine except the vocals. I've been fighting a cold for two weeks. I keep popping the Sudafed; hopefully I'll stop sounding like a duck in another day or two. The Black Knight always triumphs!
Dave Bryce
Okay - so Steve, Dan and John - as far as I can tell, you're officially in...if Mr. Klopmeyer gets me his, then that will be 18...I'm hoping they'll all fit on one CD... Is there anyone else still pending that I've missed? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Laurie Z.
Hey Dave - so sorry for the delay...hope I didn't hold up the wheels of progress here. :-) Will "What Child is This" from Heart of the Holidays work for this CD? I'm thinking it might be the best choice timewise and otherwise - plus it features the QS8...what do you think? Llarion
Glad you liked it Dave! That piano is the default Grand Piano sound from my beloved Roland RD-500, run through a Radius HHB Fat Man tube compressor... One other question, sir Dave! Izzit $20 again, or how much for the copy? is that TBA or did I miss something? Cheers! Phil "Llarion: The Jazzinator" Traynor www.llarion.com Smooth Jazz - QUESTION AUTHORITY. Here's why: A) I didn't know how many people were gonna submit, so I couldn't say whether it'd be a single or a double disc. I'm still not exactly sure... B) I don't know how many people will want one, so I don't know how many I'll have to have made. If it'd turned out to be just a few, I might have been tempted to just do 'em on my Masterlink, but I'm guessing that's not gonna be the case now. When the tunes are all in and we know whether it'll be a single or a double disc, I'll post a thread asking people to tell me who wants copies - we'll figure it out from there. Hopefully, we can do it for less than $20 this time. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
Dave Bryce
Two more excellent tunes in today from Steve Jordan and John Burdick. Killer tracks, guys! Just waiting on Dan South now - I 'm pretty sure that they'll all fit on one CD. BTW, two of you sent me $20. Like I said, I'd like to believe that we can do this one for $10 if it's a single CD. If so, I'll just send you guys two copies, k? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Dave Bryce
Oh, that's alright - it's not like we're gonna be selling the discs publicly or anything, so we don't have to be dead-on accurate on every last piece of info. You're basically covering Annie Lennox's version, so that's what I'll use, okay? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Dave, Fellow participants, Ladies & Germs, Thank you for your patience. I had a lingering sore throat for a few weeks, but I'm doing better now, and I was able to finish my vocal tracking. One more day for a quick mix, and I'll have the disk to FedEx on Tuesday for a Wednesday arrival. Dave, what was your address again? You can pop me an email if you wish. Thanks again to all!
