Addix Metzatricity
So, let's do this thing, eh? I'm even willing to start. Although, I'm at work right now. I could probably have a beginning point tomorrow. Who's up for it, and how should we do this? Addix Metzatricity
2.5 is the same as 2.0, just with some added FX (which are incredible). I'll try to refrain from using them. I'll have something for ya' ASAP. "Bass isn't just for breakfast anymore..." http://www.mp3.com/Addix_Metzatricity

Bunny Knutson
Reason has a proprietary format, correct? If not, what format does Reason use? Are wave files acceptable (.wav)? Are CD audio files acceptable (.cda)? Thanks, Reasonheads. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/

They're very small, they just contain note and patch information. However, it is possible to use .wav's in Reason and export the finished product as a .wav. So those with and without Reason can still play together. "Bass isn't just for breakfast anymore..." http://www.mp3.com/Addix_Metzatricity

Super 8
You know, I'd love to be a part of this. But here's the deal. I have a cracked version of 1.5 or something like that. I downloaded it to really get a hands on feel for it BEFORE I spend the money -yes I DO support the stuff I USE. I have to tell you, I do not understand this program. Every once in awhile, I load it up and piss with it in hopes that I'll see what's so cool about it -and no doubt it IS cool-, but I guess I haven't figured out HOW this program wants me to use it... How are you people using this thing? I have been playing around a little with Ableton Live, and this seems to me to be a more intuitive program. Maybe I'm missing the point somewhere. I'd love to make use of this stuff and incorporate it live. Does someone feel like holding my hand and guiding me in the right direction? Addix Metzatricity
While DJDM is probably the resident expert as far as Reason is concerned, I'll help how I can (I hope you DO buy the software, I did). The user's manual offers very good descriptions of what the different devices do and how to use them. The Propellerheads have quite a few tutorials (www.propellerheads.se). www.reasonstation.net is also a good place for tutorials. There is another tutorial included along with the user's manual I think that does a pretty good job of showing the basics. It takes a little to get used to, but if you have any experience with any other software (Fruity Loops, ACID, etc.) or actual hardware synths it's a bit easier to understand. I know that doesn't help much... The best way is to just look at the demo songs, or other peoples songs (reasonstation has a large selection, so does the Propellerhead website) and figure out how they did what they did...
