dalpozlead
Quick question for users of the Audiobox GO and iPad (a friend is proposing a good deal for me). Audiobox GO is suitable to use with iPad? Any issues or concerns? Tks!!!
ElmerJFudd
Looks ok. Depending which iPad you have you may need the camera connection kit or usb-c to lightening adapter. https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059975732-PreSonus-Hardware-iOS-iPadOS-Compatibility Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
Baldwin Funster
There's better ways to go than to use that big clunky I/O. Quote FunMachine.

This is exactly what I'm searching for... a lean way to have the most compact iPad setup for live playing (I have a Novation launchkey mk3). Any other possible setup? Tks! Baldwin Funster
With an iPad you are going to need at minimum like a 4 port usb hub and camera kit. One of the hub ports can be used for a thumb sized audio adapter. That's what I use. If your iPad has a headphone jack you can try that. Quote FunMachine. Any other possible setup? Which iPad? Specifically, does it have lightning connector, headphone jack? or usb-c connector and no headphone jack? And do you need to do anything other than play the keys on the Novation and then send the sounds generated by the iPad to an amp/PA? 28 minutes ago, Baldwin Funster said: With an iPad you are going to need at minimum like a 4 port usb hub and camera kit. If it's a lightning connector + headphone model, and you just need to do what I described above, all you need is the camera kit (and a USB "printer cable"). If it's a USB-C model, you can get by with a small hub that has as little as one USB connector, an audio out connector, and a PD (USB-C) power connector. dalpozlead
sorry for the lack of info... Its an iPad Air (just USB-C), I'm planning to use just the iPad as the sound engine, sending directly to the PA.

AnotherScott
iPad Air with USB-C is enough info. Even something as minimal as the hub linked here should do the trick. D. Gauss
Easy Peasy. -Buy one of these $13 M-Vave wireless bluetooth midi doodads from Aliexpress in China (takes less than two weeks to arrive). You only need the piece on the left if you use the midi jack, or the one on the right if you use the USB out. buy a $9 apple USB C headphone adapter (you can go for a cheaper non-apple knock off if you like, but it can be a crapshoot.: hook it all up (download the free Conji BLE app as it helps things a bit) and rock out. i've done gigs and it works great.
