old junk

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone had ideas on where to offload my old NON WORKING synths.

I have an Arp Odyssey and two OB-1s. I wanted to fix them, but with Korg releasing new Odysseys, it doesn't make sense for me to replace 40+ tantalums etc...

My OB-1's turn on, but no sound and I doubt I will debug them.

Finally, with the way music is going, when would I ever use these anyway?

Just wondering where you guys got rid of them - or any ideas where I could get rid of them. I don't want to just throw them away.

Looking for maybe a synth dealer or something.

Thanks

I have a full up functioning DX9 in mint condition and I couldn't give the thing away.  Can't bring myself to throw it in the garbage. But I've advertised it for 100$ obo and got zero responses.

So yeah, good luck!

You want me to start this song too slow or too fast?

Forte7, Nord Stage 3, XK3c, OB-6, Arturia Collection, Mainstage, MotionSound KBR3D. A bunch of MusicMan Guitars, Line6 stuff

You could probably snatch USD 250 - 300 on it in Brazil....   Scarcity makes the used gear market here insane sometimes.

I would put them on Reverb.

Someone will buy 'as is' and be happy to put the equity into getting them back up and running.

As it relates to the direction music is heading, there's nothing on the horizon that requires vintage gear.

Modern gear covers the bases and more.😎

Now we just need threads titled "Hot Funk", "Cool punk", and "Still Rock & Roll." ;)
