aronnelson
Just wondering if anyone had ideas on where to offload my old NON WORKING synths. I have an Arp Odyssey and two OB-1s. I wanted to fix them, but with Korg releasing new Odysseys, it doesn't make sense for me to replace 40+ tantalums etc... My OB-1's turn on, but no sound and I doubt I will debug them. Finally, with the way music is going, when would I ever use these anyway? Just wondering where you guys got rid of them - or any ideas where I could get rid of them. I don't want to just throw them away. Looking for maybe a synth dealer or something. Iconoclast
I have a full up functioning DX9 in mint condition and I couldn't give the thing away. Can't bring myself to throw it in the garbage. But I've advertised it for 100$ obo and got zero responses. So yeah, good luck! Quote You want me to start this song too slow or too fast? Docbop
Any keyboard repair shops around where you live they might take them to use for spare parts.

Someone will buy 'as is' and be happy to put the equity into getting them back up and running. As it relates to the direction music is heading, there's nothing on the horizon that requires vintage gear. Modern gear covers the bases and more.😎 Quote PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. Konnector
Being vintage keyboards, I'd throw them on Craigslist or Reverb "as is" for a cheap price. Someone will snap them up.
