Theo Verelst Posted June 9, 2023 Share Posted June 9, 2023 There are some questions about why the syncing goes the way it does, there's momentum coupling, and there's possibly some sort of measurement related to the wind-up mechanism giving energy to the swinging. Looking at the sine wave approximation: coupled sine wave motion of (slightly) different tuned sine oscillators will yield something resembling a sine wave synced motion pattern, but harmonically it isn't a pure sine wave (motion pattern) anymore.
