It’s an LA-Babyface production, one of the songwriters is Bo Watson, the keyboard player from Midnight Star, and discogs album credits says Babyface played it: Rock Steady Arranged By [Rhythm] – L.A. And Babyface* Arranged By [Strings] – Babyface Arranged By [Vocals] – Babyface Backing Vocals – Babyface, Gary Taylor, Grady Wilkins, Whispers* Bass – Kayo (4) Drums – L.A.* Keyboards – Babyface Lead Vocals – Scotty Scott* Percussion – L.A.* Producer – L.A.
