Roshan"s instrument has some studs along the fingerboard. Anyone know what that"s about? I am pretty sure those are autoharp tuners and the instrument has sympathetic strings like a sitar or sarod. Scott Fraser Posted July 25, 2021 Share Posted July 25, 2021 It's a Mohan Veena, also called Chatarangi. Yes, those are the tuners for the sympathetic strings. It's a relatively recent instrument in Indian music, pioneered by VM Bhatt. Like a sitar it has melody strings, drone strings & sympathetic strings. Great ax.
