Donhughesmusic
I'm writing a medley that for the time being (could very well change) is including ZZ Top, Kansas, either Marvin Gaye, Gordon Lightfoot, or Blue Oyster Cult (haven't decided that song yet, and even that may change), Journey, and Ghost. Any ideas on what to name the medley?

Rodan88
"Gordon Lightfoot's Worst Nightmare." If you use a Gordon Lightfoot song. "WHAT'S GOING ON???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!" If you use a Marvin Gaye song. "(DO Fear) The Arranger." If you use a Blue Ãyster Cult song. OK, I think my work is done here. 𤡠Quote

SamuelBLupowitz
A to ZZ Revenge of the 70s Jimmy Carter & the Energy Crisis Rock Baby Boom Doom Different era, but reminds me of my high school rock band's pop-and-hip-hop-as-heavy-metal medley, which we simply called "The Junior High Dance Medley." It was, of course, a much bigger hit with audiences than any of our original material. I still know the lyrics for the first several verses of Baby Got Back by Sir Mixalot. Quote Samuel B. o0Ampy0o
The WTF medley. Even if you perform these spectacularly the audience reaction might be "WTF?" perhaps because you are giving almost everyone something to like and something to throw them off. That is believe it or not kinda what I am going for. It is kinda like the pro wrestling principal. Whether you like it or don't like it, I still got a reaction out of you. With the age range of the band (youngest 22 oldest 61) it kinda fits our schtick.
Donhughesmusic
Well, as I said, the 3rd song definitely changed. It is now Robert Tepper "No Easy Way Out" from Rocky IV. As it stands right now, here is what it is... Sharp Dressed Man Carry On Wayward Son No Easy Way Out Open Arms Dance Macabre. As of now total running time of the medley is just over 8 minutes. Yes I plan on recording it.
