16251
So, say I buy a Mojo 61 and use my digital piano for lower manual. The Mojo 61 doesn't have bass drawbars. What happens to bass? Also, is foldback still available? Please feel free to add any info from those who gig organ but use above set up instead of just a dual manual organ. thanks Quote AvantGrand N2 | ES520 | Gallien-Krueger MK & MP | https://soundcloud.com/pete36251
16251
This video really opened my eyes to the Mojo 61. IMHO, that Rhodes is one of the best I've heard, and I'll have the clone wheel organ sound. Time to sell Reface CP! Quote AvantGrand N2 | ES520 | Gallien-Krueger MK & MP | https://soundcloud.com/pete36251
bjosko
Well, it have bass drawbar, but upper, lower and bass share the same drawbars depending on which part you have selected. From an external keyboard, upper manual are receiving on midi channel 1, lower on MC 2 and bass on MC3. You can add a lower manual and even basspedals later on, but you can also split the original keyboard and use left part as lower manual and even add the bass on this keys. The Rhodes are really nice, but it need a couple press on a button to reach them, so it is difficult to switch between organ and piano in the same song, and it is not possible to combine the organ and piano at the same time. Here are a great setting on the piano : Quote /Bjørn - old gearjunkie, still with lot of GAS

16251
Does the split key function work with all the sounds? I'm assuming it does so, when using sounds other than organ, say electric piano, does the lower part of split always play organ tones for bass? Mojo 61 doesn't have bass sounds right? bjosko
The split only works for organ, and you can"t combine the organ sound with anything else. The only bass are the organ basspedals that can be activated on the lower part when playing organ, as they are part of the organ engine. Seems like a missed opportunity. There might be a few people playing left hand bass with a sound other than organ. Maybe Crumar can update software (?)
