mauriziodececco
Being stuck at home thanks to the covid i started to use an elliptical bike to try to not get more weight, and to listen music during the workout. Well, i never really danced in my whole life, and it is the first time i discover the relationship between (my) physical movement and music, and i must admit i re-evaluted dance music . Anyway, i'll never be a drum and bass guy, but i listen music with a clear beat and a lot of energy, but still with a lot of musical content inside. Abraham Inc, Joe Zawinul, SoulJazz Orchestra, James Brown. Any suggestion :-> ? Maurizio Quote Nord Wave 2, Nord Electro 6D 61,, Rameau upright, Hammond Pro44H Melodica. Stokely
I tend to like harder rock when doing weights (audioslave, tool etc). Nothing approaching "metal" but like something to impart some badass-ness to my lifting (or so I think of it!) For cardio I listen to DJs like John Digweed, Sacha etc.... Docbop
Listen to music when doing cardio when not doing mental music exercises. Have a bunch of playlists like Herbie, Glasper, Funk/Rap/R&B, stuff with a strong beat like Mary J. Blige - Family Affair or Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta. Bill H.
^ King Kunta is a good track. Personally because I do a lot of DJ work it's usually a mix of mine. It means more to me if assembled and mixed the tracks myself rather than just let them play one at a time.

I like Kendrick a lot because he uses a lot of musicians creating tracks and not just samples and beats being orchestrated.
ProfD
Olivia Newton John--Let's Get Physical. There's a smorgasbord of music that would be great for working out too.
