KuruPrionz
Ah yes... the nice version of the story. The Clowns had a big party. All of them drank as much as they could. Stumbing about, they knocked all the Stratocasters off the walls. And then... they puked their guts out. The End. Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is. Winston Psmith
If I had a Strat, it seems that the quickest way to dress it up would be to swap out the pick guard. I seem to recall somebody had a Guitar painted much like that, way back when? Not Clapton's Cream-era SG, but something like it. Quote "Monsters are real, and Ghosts are real too. Danzilla
I think it's pretty cool. You'd have to be careful with the color of the body of the guitar your putting it on. White? Sure. Black? Sure. Sunburst? Probably not. The early 2000's Splattercaster? Might be a bit too much. Larryz
Maybe a George Harrison's Strat theme? It has the hippie vibe from back in the 60's...cool pickguard if a little artsy fartsy body goes with it. Quote Take care, Larryz
CEB
If the template is accurate and everything lines up well that is not a bad price for good pickguards. desertbluesman
Psychedelic, a perfect pick-guard for an old Woodstock attender like me. Dannyalcatraz
Looks cool! I have a whole bunch of guitar-related sites bookmarked, including parts makers. If you liked that, you might also check out designs from Greasy Groove and WDmusic, and Q-Parts. Quote Sturgeon's 2nd Law, a.k.a. picker
Put it on this and see if people get vertigo while looking at it. Custom Swirl Strat I think that is cooler than the pickguard I posted. I'd play it in public. Quote Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
surfergirl
Very cool, but I wouldn't put one on my Stat. It's an ash body with beautiful, IMO, crimson color and the grain shows throu. I'm afraid the pickguard would take away from the beauty of the guitar. I would also have to punch a hole in it for the button that activates the other 2 positions on the pickups. I think one would look good on my Squier. Quote Jennifer S.
Winston Psmith
I have to admit, even though I've been a life-long Gibson player, Fender always had much cooler finishes on their Guitars. Sure, a "Black Beauty" Les Paul looks amazing, but so does a Paisley Strat, just on a different order of things. Quote "Monsters are real, and Ghosts are real too.
