TommyRude
at around the 42 min mark of this video (near the end), he launches into about a minute of really cool vamping on the Kawai, followed by another minute on a fairly heavily oscillating DX7. The whole performance is what I would call eccentric, Jaco trading riffs with the rest of the band and he's happily clowning around throughout [video:youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftKJUR85kTQ Quote Some music I've recorded and played over the years with a few different bands Tommy Rude Soundcloud
SamuelBLupowitz
I was just going to watch the keyboardy part, but I started at the beginning and now I'm mesmerized. Back when I played more jazz (high school and college), I was mostly playing bass, so... yeah. Quote Samuel B. Lupowitz Musician. Songwriter. Food Enthusiast. Bad Pun Aficionado. ProfD
Yep. Jaco was a virtuoso bass player and composer. Having read his biography, he was a tortured soul. Mental health treatment has gotten better over the years but still needs work. Jon Davis absolutely killin' on piano and keys.
