I have been playing around with my new toys for the past few days and this is what I'm going with: Keeley Compressor > Satisfaction Fuzz>Fulltone 2B in front, JHS Tidewater Mini Tremolo and MXR CC Delay in the loop. On that matter, I'll point out that used specimens of the now out-of-production U.S. Masters Hornet are an excellent variation on the SG-theme that pack a LOT of innovative features and high quality, especially for the prices that they tend to go for- if you can find one. I was saving up for a spalted maple 3HB version with MoP Maltese Cross fingerboard inlays when they went under. A couple of years later, a 2HB version with those specs showed up on Reverb. It had been in a fire, but professionally refurbished to full- if scorched- functionality. But they were asking was...ambitious, IMHO. They weren"t even using the same brand of HB. I contacted the seller, and asked him about it. Made a counteroffer. They refused it.
