stevie b Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 I'm trying to duplicate (or get close to) this retro synth sound on After Midnight by JGB. The main Wurly is not problem on my PC3. The Austin Wurly with a little distortions sounds great. However, I'm not quite there on the synth lead starting at 3:36 on this recording. Sounds like vintage synth with an aggressive envelope filter and pitch bend applied. mate stubb Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Lots of filter resonance, lots of filter envelope sweep. Fast attack, adjust decay to match recording on filter envelope.
