  1. I installed the demo. It does not only sound analog, it also feels analog. But not sure if I would spend about 200 bucks for it.
  2. Oh, these pictures hurt. Is this transport damage? What does it mean „renowned S. treatment“?
  3. If you don’t need the internal sounds you could also consider the Studiologic SL88 Grand instead of the Numa X. The SL88’s adjustability is incredible. You can not only adjust and save several velocity curves according to your needs but it’s also possible to adjust every single key individually. Not sure if other masterkeyboards also feature this kind of flexibility. And it has pitch bend, mod wheel plus one more controller. These three can be programmed with different CC numbers per preset. But I would only recommend the SL88 Grand (wood) version which is a dream to play. In contrast I find the cheaper SL73/88 versions with the TP100 keybed unplayable.
  4. Pianoteq offers a good range of preset velocity curves that should be suitable for most keyboards. With my SL88 Grand I am using „normal“ in the keyboard and „moderately slow keyboard“ in Pianoteq. Fits just perfect for me.
  5. Genelec 8030CP. The precision with which these speakers build up the entire sound spectrum of the piano(teq) is spectacular.
  6. I haven't used Ivory since I got Pianoteq 8. It just feels like a grand piano, while Ivory feels like (good) samples from a grand piano. I play it with the Studiologic SL88 Grand (Wood) over Genelec active speakers. If you try it out, make sure you use really good amplification and a good keyboard.
  7. All Scarbee products 50% off. There are some goodies to be found. https://scarbee.com/
  8. I returned the yc73 and got a yc61 instead. The 61 keybed is perfectly fine for me while I did not like the feel of the yc73. I cannot confirm Paul’s points of criticism. JMTC
  9. It works. Cool! Thanks for your efforts Luiz!
  10. It’s all about sound, be it 1, 2, 3 or more oscillators, isn’t it? 😉
  11. we should not compare apples and peaches. an alpha juno is no mini-moog (although i have pretty authentic “moog leads” programmed on mine), it's no prophet or oberheim either. but it has a unique Roland sound that i couldn't reproduce with my prophet 6, my rev2 or my matrix 1000. it's just a totally underrated, fat sounding analog synthesizer. not wimpy at all. and you can still find it for the price of a vst or you can buy 10 of them for the ridiculous price of a juno 106 which the OP had asked for.
  12. with all due respect. this one osc prejudice is a misjudgement in this case. for example, the alpha juno is the favorite synthesizer of espen kraft, the 80s YT synth guru. the alpha juno sounds really fat and it has kind of a 2nd osc. I can only recommend anyone who is interested in vintage Roland synths, brass, strings, bass, lead and so on to listen to some YT videos. the misjudgment may be the reason why this synth is still so cheap. and it doesn’t have all the durability problems of other vintage Rolands. I sold my JX8P a while ago but kept the alpha juno 2.
  13. Did you find any sound differences in the “official” Stage D samples compared to the previous release?
  14. Get a Alpha Juno instead and add a cheap Stereoping controller box. The Alpha Junos are still ridiculously cheap and the sound is at least as good as the overpriced 106.
