davinwv
Reese is one of my faves (and a recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee). If you haven't seen Joe Bonamassa's Red Rocks Muddy Wolf special, go watch it now. It is a masterclass on blues piano and Hammond taught by Professor Wynans himself! Joe Muscara
Lovely stuff... [video:youtube] Thanks for sharing that, Aidan! That A-100 (?) sounded terrific in his hands. Mr. Nightime
I've mentioned it before, but I had the pleasure of jamming with Reese when Stevie Ray came to Anchorage. Many of his licks and chord voicing were blatantly stolen, and are still in use. I used to play "Dangerous Mood". Taken from a 'Keb Mo album "In the beginning, Adam had the blues, 'cause he was lonesome. So God helped him and created woman. Now everybody's got the blues."
