Sam Mullins
Seems unnecessary. :idk Agree. It might be nice if you had a Tetra and wanted the knobby interface and a reasonable size keyboard. But it would be cheaper to sell the Tetra and buy the Mopho X4 (at a loss of one voice). CEB
Seems unnecessary. :idk I'm a DSI fan ... but yeah I agree. The price of the yellow Mopho and X4 are close enough why not just buy a X4 and use in unison mode? GDP
Hmmm....the little yellow fellow may be going away. I like the new look.
Cybersoniq
Mopho SE + Tetra equals lots of flexibility for both five voice poly or up to 5 part mono multi-timbral. Would look nice together too...
MAJUSCULE
I agree, it's not something I expected to see. Clicking on the link, I thought it was an expansion on the X4. Not to be. Oh well. It's a pretty small launch, I guess Dave is just doing a small upgrade to the Mopho, which will gradually phase out the yellow. That look was a little brash. CEB
I like it. For an extra $100 it looks like a nice step up from the Yellow one. Bucktunes
I like it. For an extra $100 it looks like a nice step up from the Yellow one. Agreed. You get another octave of room to play, and a more (IMO) professional look. Considering certain manufacturers require an extra $500-$600 for an extra 12-15 keys, I'd say this is a worthy improvement. ><> Steve
