Zydecat
Considering replacing my P120 with a PX350, which I can pick up for $650 new. I love playing the P120, but size/weight is an issue. For gig use focusing on AP/EP/Clav sounds, is the PX350 a good choice?
Dana.
I wouldn't choose the 350 for any of those sounds. If you can spend more, the new Casio PX-5S has better EP and Clav sounds; the APs are probably better too. If you need to have built-in speakers, check out the Yamaha P105 or P35, or keep the 120. Zydecat
Thanks for the feedback - my gut says "keep the P120", my back says "what about me"?
Ekewaka
Thanks for the feedback - my gut says "keep the P120", my back says "what about me"? Check out the 24lbs Casio PX-5S when it's out next month, your back might thank you.
area51recording
Don't know if it's the same sample, but for AP/EP/Clav my P90 pretty much bites it. can't really stand the sound of it, stereo, mono, dosen't matter (AP sounds a LITTLE better in stereo, but so what, in a live context for me it's always a mono PA). Great feeling keyboard though, I use it as a controller for Ivory in my studio. I'm eagerly awaiting the PX5s, I think especially if weight is an issue for you it might be a good call to do the same ;-)
mate stubb
Don't remember about clav, but the P90 Rhodes bites the big one. The one in P120 was a lot better IMO. Moe ---

Al the Piano Guy
I volunteer a twice a month at a nursing home and take my P155. Even with a rolling Gator case it was a pain to move. Then I got a Rock-n-Roller cart which I love. Other than their weight, I just can't get into the Casio DPs playing solo piano. The cart was my solution.
