kong
What is a good tube amp to run a D6 through?
Tonysounds
Fender Twin, Fender Blues Deville, Marshall, HiWatt, Orange, any good tube amp that's good for guitar will work great for a Clavinet. Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
retrokeys
I used to use a Fender Deluxe. +1 on the use of tube amps here. Clav is much closer to the guitar aesthetic than keyboard. I still use some overdrive on my Electro's clav setting just to try and get that feel.
mate stubb
A tube leslie sounds magnificent too. Moe --- "I keep wanting to like it's sound, but every demo seems to demonstrate that it has the earth-shaking punch and peerless sonics of the Roland Gaia. Steve Nathan
I've always preferred the sound of 10" speakers for Clav. It helps to more effectively occupy the space between electric guitars and bass. Something like a Super Reverb or better still an older Fender Concert. I've got a '60 Concert and the "Vibrato" on that thing is awesomely deep on Clav. Also, believe it or not, Peavey had (and maybe still makes) an amp with 4 10s that sounded pretty dang good with a Clav. Don't rush me. I'm playing as slowly as I can! http://www.stevenathanmusic.com/stevenathanmusic.com/HOME.html https://apple.co/2EGpYXK
