Advice on funky jazz music

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I would like to find some more music to my liking in a particular style but can't seem to find many.

I am looking for some swinging funky jazz music :rawk:

I do like all sorts of jazz, but these kind of songs make me happy :)

Something like Cold duck time from Eddie Harris for instance (Cold Duck Time on Youtube)

Is there a specific name for this type of jazz?

And can anyone recommend me some other songs/albums with this kind of music please

Look for compilation CDs featuring these artists. This should be enough to get started in the right direction. Good luck.

You need to meet ProfD.

This kinda stuff comes as easily for him as taking a breath.
