Those were done by Forat, linked above. You should probably direct that question to them. I always thought painting aluminum was difficult so never did it. I no longer own them, but I know everyone I sold them to, and they look awesome. Granted, they're covered in many coats of clear lacquer, but they'll stay looking like this until they repaint them.
