hey, i see the keyboard in different glossy colors, i really like the white glossy roland vsynth and the korg studio. how do you paint them like that and what kind of paint is that?

 

Those were done by Forat, linked above. You should probably direct that question to them.

So I have a question for those in the original thread:

 

How did the paint job's hold up over time? I always thought painting aluminum was difficult so never did it.

 

Korg Kronos 2 61, Kronos 1 61, Dave Smith Mopho x4, 1954 Hammond C2, Wurlitzer 200A, Yamaha Motif 6, Casio CDP-100, Alesis Vortex Wireless, too much PA gear!

These look this good STILL. I no longer own them, but I know everyone I sold them to, and they look awesome. Granted, they're covered in many coats of clear lacquer, but they'll stay looking like this until they repaint them.
