Jeff Klopmeyer
Hey Second Life virtual musician peeps! If you happen to be a fan of Neil Young I've created a pretty cool little tribute in SL. It's still being built-up and added to, but in the meantime you're welcome to check it out. Here's the SL location: secondlife://Podul/8/227/146/ If you want some more info before visiting, here's a short YouTube video about it. Hope you enjoy it. nursers
Great stuff Jeff! Jeff Klopmeyer
Thank you Nursers. As it turns out, when I also posted this info to some of the Neil Young fan sites, a whole lot of people joined SL specifically to see my Archives. It's been pretty exciting. To commemorate the grand opening, I'm planning on scheduling a small concert of Neil Young cover tunes in the next couple of weeks. I'll post info here when it's set in stone. Jeff Klopmeyer
I have yet to set up the concert, but here's a little tidbit of information. When I set up this Neil Young area, I had a feeling that other Neil fans would be interested in it. So, I created a little story and sent it off to one of the major Neil Young fan sites. After they ran it in their news section, I got well over 1,000 views of the video, and quite a lot of people signing up for Second Life specifically to check out my NY Archives. Good marketing never hurts, as it turns out. Marketing Communications for MI/Pro Audio My solo music and stuff They Stole My Crayon
