Leberwurst
I just wanted to watch some Sydney Bechet clips, so I loaded YouTube, searched for 'boberwig', and what do I have to read? "This user account is suspended." Does anyone in this community know why? Copyright issues? It's really a shame. This guy put up some 800 rare jazz videos, mainly New Orleans style, covering hundreds of artists, and now all these videos are just deleted! It was always fun to browse this loaded video gallery, and now they're all gone... http://wosu.wordpress.com/tag/jazz/ The Dromb Bopper
Phil W
Man, that's a drag - and I never got to see them. I've never thought of searching for something like that. I've spent a lot of time watching Duke on Youtube. http://philwbass.com
kanker.
Perhaps the copyright owner complained? A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable.
wireless
Sometimes I dont understand some sides of this copyright thing. For example some guys upload some old TV shows with great musicians , some of these performances are not found anywhere else - so what it's point of deleting it? Nobody earns money from it because the footage was never commercially released and never will be. And these low-quality 5-10 min clips that i can not even download - are the rightsowners loosing so much money on them? I am afraid that soon we will just have a million guys "playing Jump in their bedrooms" on this site. Alas:(
Phil W
Yes, I agree. If anything watching some great clips on Youtube makes me more likely to buy a DVD featuring that performance. Indeed I recently ordered a Mike Stern DVD based on watching that band on Youtube. http://philwbass.com

Bridog6996
His account could be suspended (note: suspended, not deleted) for any number of reasons. I wouldn't jump to conclusions. My YouTube Channel
