How odd!!!! I got BANNED last night....

S. Yeti Bigfoot, Esq.

Recommended Posts

Last night every time I tried to get into the forum I got this really cryptic message that said "User is banned" and "Using password=no" and some other weird stuff...

Everything seems fine this morning....

Yeti is too big, growly and fuzzy and when he looks at the mods it's obvious he's thinkingg "dinner". I guess it was just for the sake of their safety. And the rest of you are just a bunch of loud drunks! That's why you were banned!

Huh.....do you think maybe that's why I was able to get back in after I ate dinner?

I was in the middle of an edit and everything turned into a java script or SQL mess all over the page. The only thing that appeared properly were the banned ads.

I thought it was my browser until I tried all three of them and got the same mess everywhere.

Growing pains I guess.

I still think guitars are like shoes, but louder.

happened to me as well.

i thought i broke the forum again so i ran away and hid for awhile.

LMAO!! :thu:

I wrote a lengthly, eloquent message, that was the culmonation of a life time of thought, research, and experimentation. It was profound :o.....and the "forum glitch" erased it!!! Totally lost forever!!

Oh well.....easy come, easy go

WOW!! I submitted the above message, and there was a very slow transmission, followed by me getting a message that it had timed out and the transmission failed. So I submitted it again. The result seems to be a DOUBLE POST!!

LOVELY!!

I got some "we cannot proceed" screens, but no banning.

I'm getting stuff like that too....also it suddenly says I'm not logged in.

Saying we got banned is more fun, however!! ;)

Yeah, this new software is F-L-A-K-Y.

Dont think its the software, they are just having some issues with the server thats running it. Apparantly the servers have been hosting other sites also (something Jim was unaware of), causing speed issues. Also when the backup is running it locks the forum database so we cant add anything to it (i.e. post).. Jim is on the case though, he seems to have been working like mad to get stuff sorted.

Every software migration has teething problems. Dont sweat it :)

Its alllll good.
