I'm sure there should be some video editing builder forms out there.
These clowns here don't have a clue what's going on with current tech.

E filed a couple months ago nothing here

For quite some time now the norm is to not have any internal HDDs because of noise heat and of course speed.
External/mobile HDDs are now used for backups and storage of non essential files. Prices of SSDs have come
down considerably in the last few years and the norm is currently changing from SSDs to M.2 NVME drives.

I've read that People are liking the low latency of the UAC-2 but there are problems
with sysex interference causing MIDI corruption. Haven't seen anything on the L12.

You old turds just figuring out the advantages of Solid State Drives.
Maybe you should spend some time at Gearslutz PC builder thread

Amazon is the worst place to get product info.

No 76 semi, No Yamaha 76 semi, Korg doesn't know how to make 76 semi.

In a band setting it depends on weather you have a bass player or if they're good or not. I had
to cover for a crappy bass player for quite some time until we booted him and ended up with
a really good one and it freed me up to do more and other needed parts with my left.
My RH does scales and arpeggios best going from right to left while my LH is opposite. I doubt
that's a big deal to bring up but it's an example of LH RH mirror play. just a few cents there.

Oh, I found my thread,
Ok I was recommended a GPU OC App, MIS Afterburner, that can Underclock.
Gave it a shot and I'm now able to use the Nvidia driver again, only to get the
resolution I want and get my sleep option back. So for anyone in my situation
you might want to give MIS a look at.

What the hell would he only make it 32bit for.

No ideal, only need one screen, only running instruments and may be a UAD card in the
future if it makes sense. Might settle into Reaper if i want to lay some down, but not serious
enough and just screwing around. Oh, that Startech adapter is $65 at Amazon

Haven't tried a USB screen, just wondering, maybe BIOS can only see drives and hasn't advancedPre OS drivers haven't booted???I cannot speak for "hardware" here,- but I remember, for AsRock Z97 Extreme6 USB3 I had to install drivers,- Intel and AS Media.
Are you sayin´, every Z97 mobo supports a USB3 screen w/o the OS up and running ?
Does your MSI Z97 ?
:-)

to running screens from USB yet. I remember a technicians USB2.0 to DVI port adapter and assume
it worked in BIOS. Now there's USB 3 to display port adapter that self installs like the older one did

I build PC"s, not specifically for music production but for Video Editing.
I updated my 6 core, i7 CPU PC to Windows 10 and the Firewire card that I have installed no longer works correctly.
It is a Driver thing that does not have a resolution for the Firewire card that I have installed
As for GPU cards the software that comes with them on CD or via a Download installs lots of cr4p unless there is a hidden option to install the Driver only.
Don't know if you are aware, but Windows 10 only recognizes the XIO2213B chip, TI is the best to use.

I think he is refering to the USB display AL... on i7 4790k ...
I use the HDMI or DVI when I need to get into my BIOS because Display Port isn"t set up to enter and edit, strictly a USB powered display.
Actually I also use DVi and 1 screen only,- but I wanna use a larger screen I already own plus 2 smaller ones in future and had Display Port in mind.
You say, when using Display Port, I´d be unable to go into BIOS,- or do I misunderstand your line above ?

Yea, I use the onboard GPU as well on my music PC, no need for a card

MSI has an app called Afterburner, it's a GPU OC app but also works well for
underclocking. I use it to UC my Nvidia GPU to keep it from cooking my laptop,
it's been working really well.

Nice videos KBPChristian, thanks for the links.

At any rate the Roland sounds over driven compared to the Clavia at first, then
sounds like what ever the drive was coming from was pulled back a bit but I think
the Clavia still came out on top. the Roland seems to bleed to much resonance.

Huh, and nothing about RMEs new I/O

I don't use my 88 for any thing other than keys to midi The 110 isn't
a controller, just looking at it should be obvious. You'll need something
else to plug pedals to manipulate and route.

Wow, I think I have an SD disk around here I have a key code as well, ancient.

Here"s a vid I took of the ARP demo ð
So, were there a lot of people there watching him play the same thing for hours on end.
-
I would rather have a unit to plug my existing pedals into
including momentary and variable and yes these already exist.
Damn. I pedal too much.
