  1. The number of pages depends on how you have the posts per page configured in your preferences, for example, I have mine set to 15 posts per page and I have 58 pages
  2. I'll be honest, I never really spent any time with the CX3. The way the overdrive had too much control over the master volume really bothered me, which is a shame, because the CX3 does have an excellent sound.
  3. Thanks guys Hey wjwilcox - I'll be playing in your neck of the woods at the end of August at BB's I'll be sure and post a thread closer to the time I'm hitting the road
  4. Thanks guys suraci, I'm just running into a JBL EOG G2. The Leslie sim on the XK-3c is lightyears beyond the one on the XK-3. It even sounds great in mono. Although it's not quite as good as the Nord sim, it's still top notch.
  5. A buddy of mine just posted a vid with me sitting in for the night with some friends of mine, XK-3c in full effect, although the sound quality of the clip ain't the greatest
  6. For $7.95 a month you can get ad free and up to 33% load time on Divshare.....I have no clue if this is a good price or worth it, as opposed to free. This is what I get for $7.77 a month - http://www.powweb.com/powweb/index.bml tell them kevinanker.net sent you
  7. Some of my favorite reharms
  8. yep - http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm
  9. I'm on the road for a few more days, but I'll definitely get on some stuff when I get home.
  10. I think it's a great idea, and I think maybe a good idea in many of these threads would be to pick a tune, see what different cats come up with over a whole tune, or maybe even a select section.
  11. Worked fine for me and I've never used that site, so I wasn't logged in. Sounds great too
  12. Basic information and techniques about playing a clonewheel organ, as distinguished from a weighted 88-key acoustic (or P120), hints about classic organ riffs, etc. Honestly, I'd look around the internet at sites like http://www.gospelkeyboard.com/ or http://showmethat.com and youtube, see what guys are doing. You'll learn some of those organ techniques a lot quicker seeing them. Then just listen. Winwood, Rollie, Argent, Emerson, and my personal favorite, Garth Hudson. Pick out what they're doing. You'll learn stuff a heck of a lot deeper if you learn it by ear than through the written page, it becomes more ingrained and organic.
  13. Out of curiosity, what would you be wanting to glean from a book?
  14. Just found this on another forum Letter from a professional guitar player to the "Dear Abby" help column in a newspaper. Dear Abby... I think my wife is cheating on me. I am a working musician and, as you would expect, travel a lot. I have been noticing strange things happening when I get home. Her mobile phone rings and she steps outside to answer it or she says, "I'll call you back later". When I ask her who called she gets evasive. Sometimes she goes out with friends but comes home late, getting dropped off around the corner and walking the rest of the way. I once picked up the extension while she was on the phone and she got very angry. A buddy of mine plays guitar in a band. He told me that my wife and some guy have been to his gigs. He wanted to borrow my guitar amp. That's when I got the idea to find out for myself what was really happening. I said "sure, you can use my amp but I want to hide behind it at the gig and see if she comes into the venue and who she comes in with". He agreed. Saturday night came and I slipped behind my Marshall JCM800 half stack to get a good view. I could feel the heat coming off the back of the amp. It was at that moment, crouching down behind the amp, that I noticed that one of the tubes was not glowing as bright as the other 3. Is this something I can fix myself or do need to take it to a technician? Thanks Very Concerned.
  15. At a gig I did a few weeks ago, during soundcheck - soundman: Are the keyboards really necessary to the band's sound?
