  1. Yeah, my avatar is much more handsome than the real thing. Joe - I haven't burned any joints down since the early 90's. Thanks for the love guys
  2. Someone just sent me this, from my last trip to Europe [video:youtube]
  3. Dave - that recording sounds great. The balance is a little strong on the vocal side, but not by much. The quality - pristine.
  4. It was kind of a joke, but yeah - playing with a great one ruins you.
  5. history, experience, reality, take your pick...
  6. Indeed. I'm fortunate to have a real Hammond shop about 40 minutes from me. The tech grew up in the family biz working on the organs, then got his EE degree. You just can't fake that kind of experience.
  7. Probably not good for work or if your kids are around.... [video:youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmpisOn4FmE
  8. I Want To Talk About You is actually a Billy Eckstein tune from the 40's. Misty is a pretty straight rip of it.
  9. http://jazzfusion.tv/bootlegaudio.html sick fusion stuff
  10. That one really changed me. Mostly for the better over the years, but that really deeply affected me and still affects how I deal with others on a personal level to this day.
  11. No, she didn't. How we fit that many very loud f-bombs in while playing still amazes me to this day
  12. That sounds interesting... do tell! Let's just say the bandleader and I had an extremely ugly falling out during the first set.
  13. I had a gig go real ugly and had to load out all my gear with a broken leg on crutches during the first set break...

  15. That which does not kill you makes you stronger. You're also likely to make a good bit of bread in tips that way, just keep adding as much to the song list as possible
  16. I saw him play once with Kenny Garrett. No flash, nothing fancy, but the gig would have folded completely with almost any other bass player. So tasteful and so solid no matter how in or out the gig. You're definitely a lucky man to have spent some time playing with a bass player like that
  17. Nat Reeves plays just about the best time of anybody out there. Such a solid player
  18. I just downloaded one of the tracks. Sounds good man! Can't wait to hear some more.
  19. Is there any other place you have your stuff hosted? I'm not turning my popup blocker off just because reverbnation doesn't know how to incorporate an inline music player.
