  1. Maybe a Slim Phatty and controller with aftertouch? Cheers, Gord
  2. Hello all. I just realized that the Marvel character Korg, is a Kronan. I wonder if somebody at Korg is a Marvel fan. Carry on! Cheers, Gord
  3. I am currently using a Radial KL 8 which has 4 stereo inputs and an external power supply. Soon adding another one as they can be chained to function as one mixer. Nice and clean, lots of headroom and has a good headphone amp. Although expensive, I have been very happy with it. My main use has been for gigs, but I have used it lately for recording with no issues.
  4. UFO- Strangers in the Night. Man, I love this album! My pick for greatest live album of all time. The way Paul Raymond"s (RIP) keys and rhythm guitar fit so well in the mix alongside Michael Schenker"s lead guitar just does it for me. Raymond and Schenker"s dual Minimoog/Flying V leads in Rock Bottom are a highlight for me. Cheers, Canoe
  5. I really like the Radial KL 8 but it does not have direct outs, one of the requirements mentioned by Stephen in the original post. However, used to mix a up to 4 keyboards in stereo and some soft synths it is excellent, in my opinion. Cheers, Canoe
  6. I wondered what he"d been doing since selling the Star Wars franchise to Disney. ð Seriously, I really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting. Cheers, Gord
  7. I"m a hard case believer. For me, the extra weight is a fair trade off for the added protection. I once slipped going downstairs sending my VK 8 tobogganing to the bottom. It survived the journey in its hard case. I now get Clydesdale cases for all my keyboards. Cheers, Gord
  8. I have found this app really helpful for learning a number of tunes. https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/crammit-player-for-ipad/id1355382385
  9. Clydesdale cases for my Prophet Rev 2 and Nord Stage Compact.
  10. Thanks for the responses. That multitrack video was great!
  11. Hey gang. I"ve read lots of info about the synths used on the original recording, however, haven"t found much about the electric piano(s). To that end, did the McCartneys play Rhodes and Wurlitzer? I think I can hear both types of electric piano Cheers, Canoe
  12. I ordered a Radial KL 8. Looking forward to the extra input and rackmountedness!
  13. Picked up a Nord Stage Compact. I quite prefer the action compared to the Electros I"ve played. Seems to have less resistance.
  14. The instant you kick in the synchronous motor then release the start motor switch. Especially if somebody unfamiliar with the process is watching.
  15. Sequential Prophet Rev 2, 8-voice keys just landed!
  16. Picked up a Moog Voyager Performer edition yesterday. It is a beautiful thing!
  17. A Lounsberry Organ Grinder pedal. It's a fine addition to the Kronos and Vent II.
  18. It is difficult, but I can see past the canoe, Wes!
  19. Hey Wes. Dig that old Hammond from McAdoo Piano and Organ.
  20. Thanks Ferguson. That is very helpful. Cheers Gord
  21. Hey Ferguson, how did you get the VR 700 drawbars to control the CX3 engine? I've been looking for a way to do the same with a Studiologic VMK Organ and Kronos? Thanks, Gord.
