  1. It takes no research to see that there was no "rage" there, or that your posts that I cited from this thread- picking on someone for using the word ":sessions" and nattering on about it- are asinine. Don't be a jerk.
  2. "Saved up rage"... ? Yeah, such "rage" being "released" there... Ampy, your bullying, badgering BS sessions are not impressing ANYONE here. Don't be that guy.
  3. Ohmhigawd! That's GREAT!! You're all going to LOVE them in concert. Elizabeth and I really enjoyed seeing them this past Summer (July 2023) at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center here in Upstate New York. I caught the Derek Trucks Band yyyeeeaarrrs ago, a very special memory. Who's opening? Ziggy Marley was the opening act for TTB at SPAC...
  4. Cool. A lotta great stuff goin' on there...
  5. So... just what model is it?
  6. Whoa... !! Detes, man, detes!
  7. Which isn't worth a dime compared to a number of vastly superior pedals that will do the same effect but considerably better, and more! You couldn't give me an SG-2 for free, I wouldn't want the overrated turd and I'd feel guilty if I sold it or even gave it to anyone! Yeah, ya got me there. Don't confuse me with the facts.
  8. And your set-up time. I don't think that's "complete"- I suspect that there are plenty of Boss pedals that aren't there. I don't think that there's a Boss RT-20 among hem (I've gotten LOTS and LOTS of great use out of mine over the years!), someone correct me if I'm wrong...
  9. I think that I'll eventually hafta get around to scoring one of these, along with one or two or three of the others mentioned on this thread...
  10. Indeed, my thoughts there mirror yours. There are individual digital pedals that can and do [offer superior dynamic and frequency-dependent response and interaction], but their processing power and design are pretty dedicated and focused, unlike the 'Jack-of-All-Trades' that DM/MFX units attempt to be. I'm kinda in-between there...
  11. Please, don't bother on my account! We're just kickin' the ball around here... That made them more 'broken-in' for you; sometimes there's quite a change from brand-new to broke-in... And, yes, MOJO... 💫✨ Celestion Classic Lead 80's are cool speakers, LOTS of strong low and low-mid O0OMPH in 'em, and they sound pretty consistent across varying volume-levels. I really liked the combination of one along with a G12H 30 and an Alnico Gold or Blue (that is, an open-backed 16 ohm 2x12 with the latter two, and a closed-backed 16 ohm 1x12 with the 80). The 80 added some stronger lows to the fantastic growling and chiming mids and highs of the other two. A real classic Brit blast! But I digress... Haahh! I'd checked that very same video out earlier after reading your OP above here... a very good demonstration confirming that I'd LOVE this amp.
  12. And who wouldn't? Here, here! Hear, hear! There's the rub... DM/MFX don't seem to ever offer up quite that kind of dynamic and pitch responsiveness and interaction, with very few exceptions. My Strymon Iridium is fantastic that way as far as a digitally-modeled tube-amp sim goes, so I suspect that it's possible that some DM/MFX units might. In general, various pitch, filter, and time-domain effects offered up by DM/MFX units don't deliver there, either. There are individual digital pedals that can and do, but their processing power and design are pretty dedicated and focused, unlike the 'Jack-of-All-Trades' that DM/MFX units attempt to be. Whether using my Iridium or the DigiTech GNX4 as a substitute for a 'real amp', each and every individual pedal that I ever put in front of their input was 100% all-analog. Digital Overdrive and Distortion are usually pretty mediocre- though there are some such pedals out there that I have not yet tried. Digital fuzz or octave-fuzz? Eff and jettison that crap! I did and do place digital pedals after their outputs, though.
  13. I suspect that either the wire from the 1 Spot or something internal is damaged; to the point that only a feeble, restrictive trickling flow of current is capable of getting through. Just enough for devices requiring lower current draw, but not enough for anything beyond that.
  14. That's great! I bet it's a fantastic amp; I bet I'd love it. How's it "clean-up", respond to adjustments of the guitar's volume-knob(s) and ones "touch"? What cab and speakers are ya runnin' it into?
  15. People pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...
  16. Enjoy! This will surely cause Punxsutawney Phil like delays in your reappearances IRL... My biggest interest in and curiosity about the Red Panda Particle pedals is the potential for generating quasi ring-mod sounds, even if only as echo repeats following a more or less 'straight' signal passage, that is, initial parts that aren't 'ring-modded', if you will. A weezy tweezy breeze blowing around in the wake of what I play...
  17. I would have been VERY down with that back in the '90s and 2000's. I enjoyed deep diving into the complex processing pathways of, for example, my DigiTech DSP 256XL, Lexicon Vortex, and DigiTech GNX4. I spent a lot of time crafting some very complex stereo patches with excellent effects and sounds... Some of them were quite unusual! That sounds like a PITA to make any use of, and an after-thought add-on. I doubt I'd ever even try to use it, relying instead on dedicated outboard free-standing loopers.

  19. I've seen and reposted that before, myself. I believe he was supposed to APPEAR to be busking in a subway station, with canned guitar strumming backing him. The ridiculous stupidity and shallow fakeness boggle the mind.
  20. Rolling Stone magazine hit the skids decades ago; RS = TP. Regarding the link and the content on the other end of that brown rainbow, to paraphrase the vernacular of the texter generation, 'TS/DR'. Any such moronic drivel put out by that ghost-fart of a corporate entity has as much merit as that of the Rock & Roll Hall of Sham. They're the establishment and the enemy.
