EDIT: The forum upgrade mentioned below has been postponed due to other factors not being taken care of in time to proceed... so disregard the message below. :)

*****************************************

Not sure if everyone's seen this yet, but given that most of us probably skip right past the first few posts (the "Read Me" sticky posts), some of you may have missed this.

The forum's going offline for a few days over the holidays. Yes, that's right, you'll have to actually spend time with your friends, families, or at least someone other than us here on the forum. ;)

I think the admins should have weaned us off slowly to avoid withdrawal symptoms. For example, take it down 15 minutes the first day, 30 minutes the next and so on the week prior to the upgrade. Otherwise you will have a couple thousand people writhing on the ground in the fetal position for several days. :P
Reality is like the sun - you can block it out for a time but it ain't goin' away...

Well, Jim Quinn has announced that the upgrade has to be postponed, so you forum addicts can rest assured you'll be able to post through the Yuletide season without interruption. :thu:

Freaks, all of us....

Everyone be sure to stay safe and we'll see you on the other side of whatever holiday you choose to celebrate! :thu:

Forum upgrade? Are we talking about upgrading the software or the individuals who post?

No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message.

In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.
