Carbon111
Sorry, Its just the unmitigated jealousy! I don't know where I'd put a M5...even if I could afford it So, how does it SOUND??? Also, does it make you want to get rid of any other gear? I.E. - When I finally got the PEK, letting go of my Prophet600 was a no-brainer. Or am I the only one trying to avoid "overlap"? Marzzz
I played with that thing a bit at NAMM- that certainly is quite the toy you have there (and yeah, get a perspective pic, it is a BIG synth). Dontcha just love analog????
Dave Bryce
Originally posted by Carbon111: So, how does it SOUND??? Like an M5. It's mostly Moogy sounding - especially the first VCF...but it has qualities that remind me of an ARP (maybe that's just psychological because of the way it looks). The second VCF has a bit of an Oberheim SEM flavor to my ear. Erik said he heard Andromeda-like qualities in it. I'll post some mp3s when I get more familiar with it. Also, does it make you want to get rid of any other gear? No. The only overlap I have right now is the hardware and software Wavestations...but I can live with that... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Mark Zeger
How long before dB adds "Macbeth National Sales Manager" to his list of titles? I give it a month, tops. Enjoy it, Dave.
